To drive upsell to the Paramount+ SHOWTIME bundle, we expanded full episode sampling of Billions seasons 1-3 across the corporation. Flighted over a four week period from September 3rd to October 4th, 2021 we made Billions S1-3 available for free on the Paramount+ streaming service to encourage SHOWTIME upgrade and pre-seed excitement for the bundle offering.
For a limited time throughout the promotional window we supported the showcase of Billions with creative to drive awareness including the upcoming premiere of season five. The marketing campaign featured high-impact on-product placements such as a homepage hero marquee, dedicated push notification, ongoing :30 ad spot for subscribers in VOD, and two email campaigns.
As a result, we brought in 2.5K attributed starts across all platforms and drove engagement, with 159K subscriber households viewing Billions, accruing 980K hours and 1.8MM streams.
